Military community

At JT4, we have a large and strong military community. Whether you are a veteran, reservist or service member looking to transition from active duty to a civilian career, we have employment opportunities that may interest you.

Veterans

Over 40 percent of the JT4 workforce possess military service experience. Our veterans are found throughout our ranks, from entry-level positions all the way to our senior staff. Given the nature of our work, employees with military experience often possess a valuable understanding of our customer’s needs.

JT4 works with Hiring Our Heroes, the American Legion, veteran groups and other military organizations to actively recruit veterans to join our team.

Reserve members

JT4 employs an average of 50 active reserve members across the five Federal Reserve components (U.S. Army Reserve, U.S. Naval Reserve, U.S. Air Force Reserve, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, and the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve) and organized militias (Army National Guard and Air National Guard). We support our reserve members while in training and during deployment by shifting schedules and work responsibilities, as needed, to meet service requirements.

JT4 is a two-time winner of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Pro Patria Award for outstanding service to the national defense through continued support of the National Guard and Reserve.

After a dozen years of active duty service with the Air Force, I decided to join the Air Force Reserves and accepted an offer with JT4. The company is very supportive of me as a reservist and made it easy for me when I was deployed. I love being a part of the reserves because I love helping people. The camaraderie is great, the work is fun, and I get to learn new things and tackle different challenges. I can say the same about my job with JT4. I really can’t imagine working anywhere else.

Frequently asked questions

It is never too early to reach out to our recruiting team to start discussing employment opportunities at JT4. However, in order to be considered for a specific position, you must have an official separation or retirement date.
Training and experience gained during active duty may be applicable to JT4 job positions, to provide the best support for our customers. Review the education, technical and work experience requirements for the positions of interest to you, and make sure you meet those requirements. Ensure your resume includes any training and experience you obtained, inclusive of knowledge, skills and abilities, which may be directly or indirectly applicable to the position you intend to pursue. We recognize that your specific experience may increase your ability to support other JT4 employees and work groups. In addition, your resume should include both academic and military education or awards you received during your career.
Although experiences in the military may provide candidates with a better understanding of the environment and needs of our customer, applicants will still be required to meet the educational, technical and work experience requirements for any job to which they apply. Due to the extremely technical nature of our roles, positions held in the military may not always directly translate into the aforementioned requirements. The recruiting team reviews all resumes against the knowledge, skills, abilities and requirements of positions to determine which applicant is the best fit. This is why it is so important to ensure your resume includes detailed information about the roles and assignments you held during your military experience, as well as any education you received that may indicate that you are the best candidate for the job.
We encourage you to apply for any positions of interest to you and for which your knowledge, skills and abilities are a match. If you have questions or would like additional information about a specific position that interests you, please reach out to our recruiters at careers@jt4llc.com.
