An established safety culture

JT4 promotes a safe working culture to enable employees to be safe, be well and excel. Our mission success is dependent upon safeguarding employees, teammates, customers and the military communities in which we work. To achieve environmental safety and health (ES&H) excellence, JT4 is dedicated to the following principles:

ES&H leadership excellence

Managers and supervisors execute our ES&H program, safeguard employees and foster an environment where everyone is a safety champion. We prevent incidents and injuries by using risk-informed, conservative decision-making.

Employee empowerment

We foster an environment where safety is embraced and acted upon by every employee. Employees actively engage in development of safe work practices and ES&H improvements. Everyone has the authority to speak up about unsafe work practices.

Risk management

We recognize, evaluate and manage risks in order to develop effective controls and provide safe and healthy working conditions to prevent incidents, injuries, illnesses and environmental pollution. All ES&H risks are reduced to levels as low as reasonably achievable.

Organizational learning

We continually improve our ES&H system and work processes by monitoring performance, sharing lessons learned and creating best practices. ES&H expectations and knowledge are openly communicated and shared throughout the organization.
